Hello Rick,
The RV air conditioner refrigerant went from the R410a to the R32 this year. The new R32 is much more efficient making it a win-win for the environment and the consumer. With every good news, there tends to be some bad news. The new R32 parts are not compatible with the old R410a parts, so this means you will need a whole new set-up.
- For a thermostat controlled AC you will want the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 15,000 Btu - White - R32 # ADV92SR
- For a manual set-up (controls on air distribution box) you will want the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System - Manual - 15,000 Btu - White - R32 # ADV32SR.
Any big summer adventures going on this year? Where have you explored, or looking to explore?
