Question:
Can I leave the bracket on while towing, even if I take the bars out?

Nathan, you technically can, but I’d advise against it. Since the MORryde EzStor Lite - Removable Storage Bracket for Weight Distribution Hitches # MR72ZV is not bolted through the frame, the vibrations from driving can loosen it over time. Most folks just pop it off and store it in the front compartment or under a bunk when traveling.
If you'd like a more permanent bolt-on option, I'd instead go with the MORryde EzStor - Bolt-On Storage Bracket for Weight Distribution Hitches # MR62ZV.
What type of trailer is it? A camper or a car hauler or something of that nature?

Hey, did you decide to go with the bolt-on storage bracket for your trailer, or are you still considering the removable option? I'm curious because your experience could really help others in a similar situation.
