Question:

Can this bracket stay on while driving, or do I have to take it off like some others?

That’s one of the big advantages of the MORryde WDH Storage Bracket # MR62ZV - you can leave it mounted while you’re on the road. It bolts permanently to the A-frame and won’t interfere with your hitch. Just remove the bars and shank and install on the hitch receiver when you’re ready to hit the road. No drilling is required.

In some rare instances, some travelers may prefer a more temporary storage solution like the # MR72ZV. This doesn't require drilling holes into the trailer's frame and it basically sits in place over the trailer's frame. It gets removed before you hit the road; it's more for people that have batteries or tanks in the way and need to move it frequently.

thanks. Does it sit far enough back that it won’t block the propane tank lid?

@Johnny Good question. It usually clears most standard dual-tank lids, but if space is tight on your A-frame, you might need to shift it a few inches rearward during install. It’s flexible enough to work around setups like that. You may have better luck with the less permanent option that doesn't bolt on, and just sits in place while parked - # MR72ZV.

Cool, can it mount on either side of the A-frame, or does it have to be curbside?

@Johnny Great question. You can mount it on either side of the A-frame - whichever gives you better clearance around tanks, jacks, or toolboxes. The bracket’s symmetrical, so it works just as well on the driver’s or passenger’s side.
