Is The etrailer e98878 Kayak Carrier Compatible With Malone AirFlow2 Roof Racks?

Question:

I just want to make sure I’m not missing anything. I have a 2015 Subaru Forester and I need a kayak roof rack. If I get Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack - MAL74AR And the etrailer Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs - J-Style - Folding - Clamp On e98878 Are those all compatible and do I need anything else? Thanks

Hi Walton!

As long as your 2015 Subaru Forester has those raised rails running the length of the roof (which the vast majority of these did), you will be perfectly fine with the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack # MAL74AR. If you do not have those raised rails, just let me know and I can get a different set up for you.

The etrailer Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs - J-Style - Folding - Clamp On # e98878 will have absolutely no issues clamping on to the Malone rack and includes straps for the bow and stern, so you are good to go! No other parts will be needed.

What kind of kayak will you be carrying?
