Can I plug this into the “solar on the side” port on my 2022 Rockwood Mini Lite?

That’s a great question, Trent, and an important one. The answer is yes.
If a camper like your 2022 Rockwood Mini Lite is prepped for solar, or "solar on the side", that means it has the wires pre-ran to the battery, but you still need a kit with a solar panel and charge controller to run to that port.
So to reiterate, yes, you can directly plug in the etrailer Portable Solar Panel with PWM Solar Charge Controller - 100 Watt # e28VV and you won't need anything else!
What are your solar goals? Are you just trying to keep the battery topped off when you're at camp without needing to use generator or shore power?
