Of all the hitches available for a 2020 tesla model 3, which hitch will reduce my ground clearance the least while in use? Thank you!

Hello Paul,

Happy to recommend the hitch that will give your 2020 Tesla Model 3 the most ground clearance.

Both the etrailer # e33ZR and the Curt # C45FR have a measurement of 9-1/2" from the ground to the inside top of the receiver.

The winner in terms of maximum clearance is the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # EH84GR. This hitch provides an additional 1/2" of clearance, measuring 10" from the ground to the inside top of the receiver.

If you’re planning to do some light towing or use a hitch-mounted accessory and need wiring, I suggest the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # TK35VR. For a clean, finished look, be sure to add a # 18136 mounting bracket and the # C42CR no-drill bracket.
