Question:
I have a sloan Kwick load trailer rated to 7000lb I want to rebuild the wheel assembly from the brakes to the wheel. Do you have a kit that would include the brakes and drums?

Hi Christopher!
While we do not have full kits for brakes and drums, we can definitely put one together! Do you happen to know the bearing numbers for the axle? Easiest way to know would be to find the axle tag/sticker and see what Sloan says, but we can run it as well if you can send us a picture of it. If the tag/sticker is gone though, you will need to pull one of the hubs off to get the numbers off the bearings. Not the end of the world, but it is a bit more work.
The 3,500 pound brakes # AKEBRK-35 you ordered look to be the correct capacity when I checked Sloan's website and the # AKHD-550-35-EZ-K drums will fit those brakes (as long as you got Qty.2 drums as they are sold as a single hub/drum), but it would still be a good idea to check those bearing numbers before you start the install.
Was this all for the same trailer? The # KE75EV wheels will not fit the drums you ordered if that's what you were planning. The drums have a 5 on 5 bolt pattern and the wheels have a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern. If you aren't sure what bolt pattern you are needing to replace, I included a picture showing the easiest way to measure a 5 bolt. If you have a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern (which pretty much all 14" trailer wheels are) and your drum uses the # L68149 inner bearing and # L44649 outer bearing, the # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K will fit that wheel and spindle. This is the most typical size for a 3,500 pound axle, but there a few oddities out there.
What are you carrying with your Kwik Load trailer? This weight capacity typically means it's a car hauler for their trailers.

Hey, I just saw your reply I received all my parts a while ago looks like I need to return the hubs I bought to make everything I already have work together. How do I do that? And all hubs on all my other trailers must be 5 on 4 1/2, so I need to stick with that. I would like the same brake and back plate to work with whatever I get.
