Will this clear the rear spare tire on my 2020 Jeep Wrangler when folded up? I’ve got stock tires and a factory hitch. – Marcus

Marcus, you’re on the right track asking about clearance. From the hitch pin hole to the folded rack’s closest point is 4-1/4", and most Wrangler spares stick out around 8-10. That means the Thule OutPace Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # TH39SA won’t fold all the way up without hitting the tire. But good news: it’ll still work just fine in the carry or tilted-down positions, no interference there.

In order for it to fit when folded up, you'll need an extender like the Hitch Extender 10" # HES0 if you have a 1-1/4" receiver, or a Gen-Y Hitch Receiver Hitch Extender 14" Long # GY89SR if you have a 2" receiver.
