Question:
I just wired the Tekonsha Brake ENV controller and it is flashing P.L Not P.L. which would indicate a loss of power while braking. I have not even connected a trailer to the truck, I literally just wired the unit in. Hopefully you have some experience with this situation. Thanks

Hi Dave; since you just wired the Tekonsha BRAKE-EVN Trailer Brake Controller # TK28BR I would double checking the wiring since that is likely the cause of the power interruption error. Make sure your red wire is secure and only getting power when the brake pedal is pressed. I would also test the black wire to make sure you have full 12V power running to the brake controller, especially since you just installed the # ETBC7 as well. I doubt you have a bad circuit breaker but you can test that as well by bypassing the breaker and running it straight to the battery to see if the code goes away.
