When you hitch up a fully loaded trailer or pack the bed full of gear, these hollow rubber springs step in with 11,000-lb load-leveling capacity. They keep your ride height even and your steering and braking steady so your truck feels balanced and controlled. No more rear-end squat or sag throwing off your handling when towing or hauling serious weight.
Bumpy highways and uneven terrain can make a heavy rig bounce and jolt. These rubber springs absorb road shock and cushion the impact, helping smooth out the ride for both your truck and trailer. The result is less wear on your suspension components and a more comfortable drive when the pavement gets rough.
Sharp turns, off-center loads, or gusty crosswinds can make a loaded vehicle lean or sway. Each spring works independently to counter body roll, keeping both sides planted for better stability. That extra control gives you confidence whether you’re cornering on mountain roads or swerving to avoid an obstacle.
Unlike airbag setups that need compressors, hoses, or pressure checks, these springs are maintenance-free. Just install them once and they automatically engage when needed to handle heavy loads. You get consistent suspension support every time you tow or haul—no tools or adjustments required.
Timbren springs will not increase your vehicle's weight-carrying capacity. Do not exceed the manufacturer's recommended weight limit.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer. Today we're gonna take a look at the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System. Now this kit here is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2019 to 2021 Freightliner Sprinter 2500 four-wheel drive vehicles. Also fits the 2019 and newer Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 four-wheel drive vehicles. Now on a custom fit part like this one, I do like to recommend for you go to our website, use the fit guy, put in your year and model vehicle and it'll sure this will work for your application.
Now this kit here is gonna improve suspension and handling and safety of your vehicle. It does include everything laid out here on the table. It includes these two Aeon Hollow Rubber Springs, the two mounting brackets, four vehicle specific mounting brackets, the four spacers with the hardware for a nice simple installation. Now when you do install this, you will remove or replace the axle bump stops that are on the frame and there's no drilling required for this and there's no maintenance required, 'cause unlike airbags, there's no compressors or pressure adjustments, you just install and forget. This will provide additional support as needed, as you always have a nice, smooth, comfortable ride.
It'll allow the leaf spring ample movement while cushioning light loads, and it does not affect the empty ride of the vehicle and then becomes more rigid as more weight is added. It increases stability, provides great performance while hauling heavy loads, and it'll even reduce vehicle sag. These do work independently, side to side, help compensate for off center loads, reduces body roll when you're swerving and turning corners. These do also act as shock absorbers. Taking the brunt of bumps and rough roads, helps extend the life of your vehicle's suspension.
Now the capacity on this kit is 11,000 pounds. One note I wanna mention is Timbren springs will not increase your vehicle's weight carrying capacity, so you do wanna make sure not to exceed the manufacturer's recommended weight limit. These are designed to work with the suspension system that is in good working order. Glad to hear the Timbren systems worked out so well for your RAM Van Mitchell! It’s great that you noticed the smoother, more progressive response compared to the factory bump stops, especially under load. The TIMBRENs work as stated during when I am pulling anything heavy. However, when the truck is not pulling anything, anyone riding in the rear seat gets a very hard jarring jolt when driving over any roadway repairs, bumps, expansion joints on bridges. I wished that I would have went with the Super Springs, or the Road Active Suspension. I may replace the TIMBRENS later.

The unloaded ride is a concern we hear fairly often with SES upgrades, so your experience with the 1" gap and rough-road testing will be really helpful to others considering these for their F-250. Hi there, thanks for reaching out, that’s actually a common issue with this type of trim. The one you tried is a standard flat insert, but some RVs (like your NOBO) use a slightly domed trim to help it sit over the screw heads in the track. If the screws stick up even a little, a flat trim won’t fully snap in place, which sounds like what you’re running into. The best way to find the right replacement is to remove a small piece of your original trim, lay it flat, and measure the full width from edge to edge. Most are either 3/4" or 1", but the shape matters too, not just the width. If yours has that domed profile, you’ll want something similar or a softer vinyl that can flex over the screws. If you’re able to send a quick photo of your track or old trim, I’d be happy to help you find a better match.

Glad they are working well for you, Kevin! Well, while you are towing, that is. We have heard that these can be pretty rough when unloaded, but work great when you are loaded. A quick release function on these would make taking them off when not towing a lot easier. I may pitch that to Timbren to see if they can work something out. I will tell them to call it something like the Kevin Device if they agree! ^___^ Sounds like quite the trip! What has been your favorite stop so far?

Thanks for sharing your experience Thomas. It is great to hear the Timbrens made a noticeable difference in ride quality and reduced body roll on your E350 Class C. We also appreciate the heads-up on the install. That kind of real-world feedback about brake line clearance is very helpful for others working on a similar setup. Would be nice if they had a stronger option, if you need the 5K, might need to go to airbags, but who wants to deal with having to air up if you don't need to. Where are you off to on the next adventure?
