Question:
I am having issues with my trailer brake on one side. I took the hub off to replace the studs and out new lug nuts on but now the hub doesn’t spin all the time. I put the brakes on a few times and then the hub would not turn at all. So I was just going to replace the hub assembly because it’s just old anyway. The number I have on the hub is BD-545-17. I see there is something similar on your site. My question is, does the assembly come with the brake pads and wires to be connected to the trailers electric brake?

Hey Gabe, those are separate parts. The Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly item # AKHD-545-35-K is going to be the correct replacement for your BD-545-17 hub. It has inner bearing item # L68149 (1.378" inner diameter) and outer bearing item # L44649 (1.063" inner diameter) and a 5 on 4-1/2 lug pattern.
For a compatible electric brake assembly you'll want either the Right Hand/Passenger Side Electric Trailer Brake Assembly item # AKEBRK-35R-SA or Left Hand/Driver's Side item # AKEBRK-35L-SA. These have two wires coming off of each assembly and either one can be the power or ground.
