What Size Brake Assemblies Will Fit with 12 inch Diameter Wheels

Question:
Hi, I want to put electric brakes on a pop up camper with 12inch wheels, starcraft 1701, 2008. The axle does have 4 hole mounting flanges. Do I have to use 12inch brakes or 10inch brakes?

Since you have 12 inch wheels you would have to go with a smaller hub/drum to fit underneath them. The standard size that would fit under a 12 inch rim is 7 x 1-3/4 like the part # AKHD-545-2-EZ-1K which fits most 2k axles.
But first we need to figure out what spindles you have on your trailer so that we can determine which hub/drum would fit and then build from there. The # AKHD-545-2-EZ-1K would work if the bearings in your current hub are both L44643.
If you check out the link I attached you will be walked through the process of adding brakes to your trailer.
