Hey Jon, thanks for reaching out. There are a few ways to find out what bearings you need. The easiest way is to take a look at your hub and see if there is a part number cast on the front or back. Usually we can use this number to pull up your bearing info.

Or you can remove a hub and take a look at your bearings. Each bearing should have number stamped on the edge, or you can measure the ID of each bearing with a micrometer.

Or you can measure the part of the spindle where the bearings and seal ride. The diagram below will show you how to measure the spindle.

Most 3,500 lb axles made within the last 20 or so years use a standard bearing combination. That being the # L68149 (1.378" inner diameter) inner bearing and # L44649 (1.063" inner diameter) outer bearing. If this is what you have, you will want the # BK2-100 Bearing Kit, but please confirm.

Get me that info and I am happy to look into it and make a few recommendations.

Are you needing new hubs too? Or just the bearing kit? Replying on the page is the fastest way to get ahold of me.

I’m not looking the bearings , I’m in need of measuring the cap that basically covers the bearings, I need to know where to measure so I can get the right cap

@JonB Ah ok gotcha. The 3,500 lb axles typically use a standard size grease cap which is a 1.99" diameter like part # DC200L-DCRP. You can measure the outer diameter of the current grease cap, or you can measure the diameter of the hub bore. Again, if I can get the part number from your hub I might be able to look it up and tell you what cap you need.
