Question:

I have an Airstream Nest 2019. I am looking for a weight distribution hitch to level my tow vehicle 2024 Gladiator I know that my propane/battery cover interferes with a mount that bolts over or around the frame. Using the Curt 17005 bracket. What WD hitch would work best for this application and allow backing. Trailer GVR max is 4000lbs / 3500lbs empty.

Hey Steve, you are on the right track for sure. Since you have clearance issues with your camper you would need to go with a set of bolt on style WD brackets to get around that like with the Curt brackets part # C17005 that you referenced.

Then a weight distribution system like the part # C17050 would be a great solution that is rated properly. What size hitch ball do you need?

Hey Steve, did the Curt weight distribution system work out for leveling your Gladiator with the Airstream Nest? I'm curious to know if it solved the clearance issue with your propane/battery cover, as it could give others confidence when ordering similar setups.
