Can Trailer be Backed Up without Removing Spring Bars on Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System
Updated 01/29/2018 | Published 01/27/2018 >
Question:
Hi there. I see a few different references for other WD hitches that indicate you can backup, WHILE TURNING, as long as you disengage the spring bars. Please confirm/deny that the C17500 can also perform turning backup maneuvers, so long as spring bars are dis-engaged. Thanks If it matters, 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 towing a Jayco 19BH.

Pretty much the only weight distribution systems that do not allow backing up while turning are the ones that have the bar style friction sway control pieces and with those you only would have to disengage the sway control bar and not the spring bars.
Curt TruTrack system # C17500 does allow you to back up, turning or not, without having to disengage anything. I have linked a video review of this system for you.
