@AwesomeT Sounds like an interesting project! In that case any of the kits above could work as long as you come up with something fairly similar to the intended grille guard. Do you have something specific in mind? Have you done this kind of thing before? Just curious because this is not something we hear of typically.

@JesseM I love to weld and fabrication. I have built different things. Trailers to cattle gaps. Ive got an idea of what i want. I tend to over build stuff. Me and a friend built a rear bumper for a truck we had to use a forklift to install it. Which brand of brackets do you like best? Do they come with instructions? Thanks Blake

@Blake Very cool! That is actually a really good question about the brackets. Out of the three kits we offer, I am leaning towards the Westin HDX Grille Guard brackets part # 57-201PK. The HDX grill guard would be the most Robust of the three, and also the heaviest (about 100 lbs). So I am thinking those will be your best option if you plan to overbuild something. Take a look at part # 57-2010 for an idea of what the HDX grille guard and attachment tabs look like. Honestly I wasn't sure about the instructions. I assumed they were included but I have never actually checked. I went out to our warehouse and opened up the box and I can confirm the # 57-201PK kit does come with instructions. I snapped pictures and I can email those to you if you want. The brackets are 1/2" thick steel. That said, if you do end up ordering this kit, do not be alarmed when the box arrives and appears to have been opened and re taped. That was me lol. Don't worry I taped the hell out of it. Better than it was before. I also threw a few stickers in the bag with the instructions.
