Hello Rich, thanks for reaching out. The 3,500 lb axles use a standard brake size, which are the 10" x 2-1/4" brake shoes. For that I recommend the etrailer Electric Trailer Brakes # AKEBRK-35-SA. These are self-adjusting brakes. They use a 4-bolt brake flange which is standard, but please check your trailer and verify your brakes are also a 4-bolt flange. Some older trailers uses a 5-bolt flange so we want to be sure you don't have that. As long as your flange is a 4-bolt, you can be sure the # AKEBRK-35-SA will work for you. They are sold as a pair.

Hey Rich, did you have a chance to check if your trailer has a 4-bolt brake flange? I'm here to help if you need any more assistance with replacing your brakes.
