Question:
The company that makes my trailer says to use a load level C because of the max capacity of the trailer. If I use a load level E, would that make the tire more durable even if I am not utilizing the total weight? Also the max PSI of 90 is this cold or warm fill up. If I am not using close to max weight rating of this tire would 90 PSI still be recomneded? Dont want the tire to be bouncy.

Hi Brad; I would stick with the trailer manufacturer recommendation of Load Range C tires like the # AM3H390. Load Range E tires like # AM3H490 will be more durable since they're 10 ply instead of 6 ply. However, that might actually cause the bouncy tires you want to avoid. If you really want to move up the ply rating I would go to 8 ply, Load Range D, like # AM3H430 to avoid overdoing it. Also, all of the psi ratings are cold psi.

Hey Brad, did you decide to stick with the Load Range C tires, or did you try the Load Range D option to avoid the bouncy ride? I'd love to hear what you chose and how it worked out, as it could help others make a similar decision.
