Why Does my MaxxFan Roof Vent 4301K Have a Red Glow When the Cover is White?

Why does my Maxxair fan model 4301K give off a red glow when everything about it is white except for the metal parts

Hey Wilma, thanks for reaching out!

I honestly don't know why your MaxxFan Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # MA00A04301K is giving off a red glow, but it likely has to do with what's on the top part of the cover. Are you seeing this throughout the day, or just in the mornings and evenings?

Any time the sun is out. But the cover/lid is white. Only things with any color are the metal brackets attached to the cover/lid.

@Wilma I see. As long as everything is functioning just fine I wouldn't worry about it, but if you're really wanting to investigate, then you'll need to climb up on your roof and see if there is something above it or on top of it that would be causing it to have that red-type glow.
