Updated 05/15/2025 | Published 05/11/2025

I have a 2-2x Outback wagon and need some space to install my quikerstuff bike rack. Looking for compatible options. It’s a 2 inch size

Hey Jim, it sounds like you are looking for a hitch extender because of the shorter shank that is on your quikerstuff bike rack. For that the RockyMounts # RKY10008 would work great for you. This would give you 8 more inches of clearance which I would think would pretty easily be enough. Plus this comes with an anti-rattle device which would minimize movement in the hitch as well. Would 8 inches be enough?

Hi - I will check that out. I tried another 7" hitch but I could get the safety device in the notch because the whole was too far away.

HI - Do you know the measurement from the end of the extension to the safety pin hole?

@Jim I am not totally sure what dimension you are looking for but copy and paste this link below into a browser and let me know if the dimension is shown there. I wish I could upload pics on this page but at this time I cannot: https://www.etrailer.com/static/images/pics/r/k/rky10008dia_2_800.jpg
