Question:
Can you supply the adapters to mount the Curt Adjustable Tow Bar to the clevis shackle mount on a 2005 Wrangler with a XRC bumper? The mount dimensions are 1 thick with a 1 hole for the pin. Thanks!

Thanks for reaching out Frank and I totally get the challenge you’re running into.
At the moment, Curt doesn’t offer a D-ring (clevis mount) adapter that’s directly compatible with their tow bars, including the Adjustable Tow Bar. That means there's no off-the-shelf solution to connect it to the D-ring mounts on your XRC bumper.
But you’ve got a couple solid options:
Switch to a Tow Bar with a D-Ring Adapter available. Brands like Roadmaster and Blue Ox offer adapters specifically designed to work with D-ring mounts and they’re a great match for bumpers like yours. If flat towing is something you’ll do regularly, this might be the simplest and most secure way to go.
I personally recommend going with the Roadmaster part # RM-035-1 D-Ring Adapter paired with the Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain Tow Bar # RM-522.
The Falcon All-Terrain tow bar is one of Roadmaster’s most popular models because it’s incredibly user-friendly, with self-aligning arms and a non-binding design that makes hooking up and disconnecting smooth, even if your Jeep isn’t perfectly lined up. We all know campground sites are almost never perfectly level. With this option you will need to add a hitch to your motorhome, so please let me know which motorhome chassis you have!
Your other option:
If you're set on keeping the Curt tow bar, a custom adapter bracket could be fabbed up by a local off-road or welding shop. Just be sure it's done safely and rated for towing your Wrangler’s weight.

Hey Frank, did you decide to go with the Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain Tow Bar and D-Ring Adapter, or did you have a custom adapter made for your Curt tow bar? I'm curious to know how it worked out for you, as it could help others facing a similar setup challenge.
