What tow bar and accessories would I need to purchase to flat tow a 2000 Volkswagen beetle? Thank you.

Hey Terry, the first thing you need to flat tow your 2000 Volkswagen New Beetle is the Roadmaster base plate kit part # 521225-1 which would work great with the Roadmaster tow bar part # RM-020 that you referenced. Do you have the rest of the parts needed to flat tow the vehicle?

No. I do not have the base plate. It is expensive. I may never flat tow this beetle. I just want to be prepared in case of a breakdown. I did see BX88230 Universal Bolt=on Adapter tabs that are less expensive.
