Question:

Will the fit kit for Evo clamps work with the 480R rapid traverse podiums? I have a 2015 Honda Fit and I see the fit kit 1751 for rapid traverse podiums has been discontinued. Various sources say the 145285 or 145152 will work for my model year Honda Fit. I have read that 480 traverse will not work with the newer fit kits but 480R rapid traverse feet will. Is this true? Thanks.

Hi Rory; the Fit Kit for Thule Evo Clamp and Edge Clamp Roof Rack Feet - 5285 # TH28MC for your 2015 Honda Fit is not compatible with the Rapid Traverse Feet. You will need to swap them out for the Evo Clamp Feet for Thule Crossbars # TH710501. I wish Thule parts were backwards compatible but that is not the case. The only way to use those on your 2015 Honda Fit would be to find the old fit kit on a site like eBay.
