Can The Older Thule Traverse 480 Feet Be Used With Newer Square Bar And Fit Kit?

Hello, I have a 2017 Honda Pilot LX - naked roof. I want to know if the FIT KIT 145243 works on Both Thule WingBar Evo Roof Rack System and the older style 480 Travers both using square bars. Just I guess the evo has a slot cut out in the bottom but will the Fit Kit work in both Evo and Travers?

I confirmed with Thule that your older 480 Traverse feet will not work with the newer 145243 Fit Kit # TH79RV that you need, and it will not work with newer Thule square bars either.
You will need to go with a new roof rack setup for your 2017 Honda Pilot naked roof. The complete setup is as follows:
-Evo Clamp Feet # TH710501
-Fit Kit # TH79RV
-you can install WingBar Evo Crossbars Black # TH711520, Silver # TH711500, or go with Square bars # TH712500.
