TST tpms installation. How do I avoid stem failure if I use this system?

Not sure what TST TPMS you're looking at but the best way to prevent stem failure is to be sure to use the proper air pressure in the tire. A system like the TST TPMS for RVs item # TST-507-RV-4-C can be used on rubber, steel, chrome, or nickel valve stems.

If you use a TST TPMS with flow through sensors like item # TST94VR, you'll need to have metal valve stems.

What kind of RV or setup are you looking to add tire pressure monitors to and what kind of valve stems do you have?

Hey, did you decide which TST TPMS to use for your RV? I'm curious to know if the information about valve stems helped you make a decision. Your experience could really help others looking to avoid stem failure.
