Comparing Swagman XTC2 S64670 And XC2 S64650 Bike Racks

Question:
Hi there, I am wondering what the difference is between these two below. I have a 2016 Chevy Trax and dont need anything fancy, but would like to be able to lock the bikes if I leave the car unattended. Do either of these allow you to lock the bikes with a key? Do you recommend one of these over the other based on my car? Thanks! https://www.etrailer.com/Hitch-Bike-Racks/Swagman/S64670.html https://www.etrailer.com/Hitch-Bike-Racks/Swagman/S64650.html

Hello Laura, thanks for reaching out. The main difference between Swagman XC2, # S64650, and the Swagman XTC-2, # S64670, is the XTC2 is capable of handling bikes with up to 66 inch long wheelbases, while the XC can handle bikes with a wheelbase up to 51-1/2 inches. So if I had to choose between the two, I would do the XTC2 # S64670 every time.
The rack does not include locks, but you can add them. Swagman offers a lock set that includes a locking hitch pin and cable lock. For that, use part # S64030. This will allow you to lock the rack into your hitch, and lock the bikes to the rack.
Take a look at the videos I linked for you below. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.

Hi Laura, did you decide to go with the Swagman XTC2 for your Chevy Trax? I'm curious if the lock set worked out for securing your bikes, as it might help others looking for a similar solution.
