Question:

Looking for trailer light harness for 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe. Website shows “coming soon”. Is that the only option or is there another one that’s available now?

Hi Michael, I have a universal trailer wiring option for you, but you are correct that the custom fit trailer wiring harnesses for your 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe are not available yet. I just checked with my manufacturer contacts, and they confirmed that they still do not have any harnesses ready for production yet or an exact ETA.

If you need a solution right away, your best option will be to install a universal splice-in harness like part # 119147KIT which will need to be spliced directly into your taillight wires. If you are not familiar with this type of installation, I'd suggest finding a local shop to perform the installation. I attached a link to our shop locator to see if any are in your area.

We also carry a non-splice harness called the ZCI harness # 119250KIT. The installation is very similar, but it uses a newer technology to sense the power through the wire instead of splicing directly into the wire.

I attached installation videos of both harnesses for you to check out to get a better idea of how they install. We haven't had the opportunity to install one of these harnesses on your vehicle yet, but the concept of the installation will be the same.

Hi Michael, did you decide to go with the universal splice-in harness or the ZCI harness for your Santa Fe? I'm curious to know how the installation went, as it could help others in a similar situation.
