Question:

I have a 2023 SRW GMC Sierra 3500 that comes with an overload spring from the factory. Do I remove the OEM overload spring to install these, or do these install, while leaving that spring in place? I have a pin weight of 3200, and currently experience 2-1/2” of sag, which I would like to level out a bit. Which springs should I go with? The 3000 or the 5000?

Hello Mike, thanks for reaching out. You would not need to remove the overload spring to install the SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs # SSR-203-47-2 on your 2023 GMC Sierra 3500. The springs install inboard of the leaf spring pack so that will not be an issue.

Since you have 3,200 lbs of pin weight I definitely recommend going with the 5,000 lb springs. They will help a lot to level your ride when your are loaded down. They may not eliminate all 2-1/2" of sag, but they will make a noticeable improvement.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.

Hey Mike, did the 5,000 lb springs help level out your Sierra when you were loaded down? I'm asking because your experience could really help others in a similar situation.
