Hey, everyone. We're gonna take a look today at the Yakima RampUp. This is gonna be the loading ramp for your Yakima StageTwo bike racks. Now, whether you have the two-bike version, the four-bike version, or the one in different colors, this is gonna fit. You can always double-check right here at etrailer. I know a lot of people ask about a ramp solution for their bike racks.
We'd love to help you find the right fit for you. Chances are this is gonna be really helpful, because when you have your heftier electric bikes, your larger bikes, and you have your bike rack in a taller situation like what we have here, this will make things a lot easier to get things loaded up. To be more suited for even those heavier bikes, this ramp is wider and sturdier and really holds up well even to your thinner or fatter tires. My first test of a ramp is always how the whole thing bends when the tires go up on it, and this one looks really good, even with this being a longer ramp. This pairs nicely with the V-shaped trays of the StageTwo, so the walls of the ramp help keep your tires in while the V shape of the trays do the same thing until you get up and onto the rack.
So rather than having to hoist your entire bike, everything just works together to hold it on in place and making it a lot easier to load things up. And as you load up your second, your third, or your fourth bike, this ramp easily fits into the rear slat of your trays. (slat clicking) As helpful as it is in an extended position, how easy is it to pack down This is the one thing that I'm not the biggest fan of, and that is that they utilize a double knob and bolt design. So you have to completely undo both of your knobs, just like that. And then you can fit your two trays or two pieces of ramp back together, like it is a puzzle piece.
So compared to other ramps where they just have a slide in them where they can slide and extend out and then you can secure it, this does take a little bit more effort than some other ramp designs. But today, this was a look at the Yakima RampUp. This is gonna be the loading ramp for your Yakima StageTwo bike racks.
Very sturdy and well made. It works well and certainly makes putting a 60 lb e-bike on the elevated rack solo a cinch. A little pricy but good quality isn't cheap.
Just what I was expecting. Good speedy service from you. Thanks.
I have had Thule, Hollywood, and Saris and the Yakima is the easiest , lightest and holds the bike the best. The connection to the hitch is very firm. The latches that hold the tires and the frame are easy and quick to place on. The ramp makes even a heavy bike easy to get on.
An amazing product, sturdy, is easy install, rides great and most of all I feel safe having my bikes attached to the rack!
UPS lost my first order so when I called etrailer back they shipped out a replacement with ni issues.
Need to adapt to the rack I am using it on. Good quality and quick shipping.
No more lifting heavy bikes.
delivery prompt..these are to aid in balancing rv, and have yet to be used, but certainly going with us on next trip as construction, stackability and quality make these an easy choice.
