This 15" x 6" Lionshead Aluminum Margay Trailer Wheel blends strength and light weight in one sleek design. The aluminum build is durable and rustproof, giving you confidence to handle heavy loads up to 2,830 lbs without adding unnecessary weight. It meets DOT specifications and SAE J1204 standards, so it’s ready for long miles and steady towing.
The Margay’s glossy black 5-spoke design doesn’t just look sharp—it’s made to stay that way. The automotive-grade clear coat on the front face protects against scuffs and scratches, holding its finish even after regular use. It’s a clean, modern upgrade that stays looking fresh over time.
With a precise 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern, a 4.25" pilot diameter, and a 0 offset, this wheel offers solid fitment for setups that use standard 1/2"-20 wheel bolts. The design includes steel inserts in the lug-nut wells to help retain torque and prevent wheel-offs, giving you a secure connection you can trust mile after mile.
Each wheel includes a valve stem rated for up to 100 psi right out of the box, and the center cap is sold separately so you can match your setup as needed. With its strong build, corrosion resistance, and lifetime structural warranty, the Margay wheel is built to keep rolling reliably year after year.

1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff with etrailer.com. Today, we'll take a look at the Lionshead 15-inch by six-inch Margay Glossy Black aluminum trailer wheel with the six on five and a half inch bolt pattern. Now this is an aluminum wheel, it is durable, lightweight, rust-proof. Now we mentioned this is the Margay series, which you can see is a six-spoke design, has a Glossy Black finish with the machined-edge on the spokes, and even on the lip, that machined-edge gives a nice shine to the wheel. They do use an automotive-grade clear coat finish on the front to protect it from scuffs and scratches. Now the valve stem, you can see right over here is included.
It's pre-installed into the wheel. Now the center cap is not included. If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separate on our website. You do wanna make sure to get a center cap that has the same diameter as the pilot hole here. 'Cause when you install that center cap, it'll go through this hole.
The diameter on this pilot hole is 4.25 inches. Now this wheel does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation, specifications and the SAE J1204 standards. A few dimensions on this we're gonna measure is the diameter and the width. The diameter is always measured inside to inside. So if we take our tape measure, and if we go inside to inside all the way across, there's your 15-inch diameter.
The width is the same way. You're gonna measure inside to inside, or bead seat to bead seat. six inches on the width. Bolt pattern on this wheel is a six on five and a half inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure that bolt pattern on a wheel like this that's an even number of lugs, six lugs, what you'll do, it's pretty simple, because the lug holes are directly across from each other.
So you just pick either hole, let's say this one, and then you're gonna measure across from the center of this hole to the center of this hole right across from it. On this, it'll measure five and a half inches, so it's a six lug five and a half inch bolt pattern. This wheel does use a wheel lug size of a half-inch by 20, and the weight capacity on this wheel is 2,830 pounds. But that should do it for a look at the Lionshead 15-inch by six-inch Margay Glossy Black aluminum trailer wheel with the six on five and a half inch bolt pattern.

We bought a new travel trailer and discovered that the spare was just a plain black rim and the two wheels on the ground were nice mags. We like to rotate the tires including the spare so we called etrailer and even though the one they had did not match the two on the ground it was close. It's a single axle so it would not matter.
Great price on an aluminum wheel I plan to use as a spare. Not an exact match to my current Legend wheels but close enough, especially for a spare wheel and looks great.
Could have been packaged a little better had a few small nicks around the outside edges but overall very good service and product

Wheel arrived quickly and was undamaged. Great packaging job! Exact match to the existing wheels, no oddball wheel on our rv anymore.
Nice wheel but I ordered the black not the gun metal gray so I had to send it back! Easy as 1,2,3 customer service was easy to deal with and was a pleasure talking to!
