Hi, Jairo here with Round Rock RV. We currently have an RV that has a Atwood/Dometic GC10A-4E, which is a 10 Gallon water heater which has the following dimensions: Cut-out dimensions are: 16-1/4W x 15-3/4H x 20-5/8inch D Actual dimensions are: 16W x 15.5H x 20.8inch D We are needing to replace with a tankless, on-demand water heater. What options do you have that will fit this opening? Or do you have units that come with a mounting/door kit?

Hello Jairo, thanks for reaching out. We do have tankless water heaters that can replace that Dometic GC10A-4E, but there is nothing that will be an exact fit for the opening.
For example, what I recommend is the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR68SR. The unit itself is 12-5/8" wide x 12-5/8" tall x 19-1/4" deep. So you would have to build out the inside of the cutout to properly house the unit. Tankless units are often smaller than the tanked units so modifying the cutout is a pretty common step when doing this swap. It comes with a white 18"x18" door to cover the opening.
It is also available with a black door as part # FR42TD.

Hey Jairo, how did the swap to the Furrion tankless water heater go on your RV? Did the door kit cover the opening the way you needed? Your update could make it easier for others replacing the same Dometic unit.
