Tankless RV Water Heater Replacement For Atwood GC10A-4E

Question:

What would be the the best water heater to use in place of the Atwood GC10A-4E water heater dimensions: 16 inch W x 20.8 inch L x 15.5 inch H? My tank has cracked at the fitting and needs to be replaced with a different unit. I am looking for a tankless for a replacement.

Definitely a smart idea to replace your Atwood heater with a tankless unit, as they are much more energy-efficient and quicker to heat your water. We do have an option that will easily fit in place of your 16" x 15-1/2" x 20-7/8" Atwood GC10A-4E, which is a unit from Furrion, and it will require the correct size access door as well:

- Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR93FR

- Access Door for Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater - 18" x 18" # FR73FR

Th Furrion measures 19-3/16" deep x 12-5/8" tall x 12-13/16" wide, so there won't be any issue fitting it exactly where your Atwood heater is now, and the 18" x 18" access door is the right option because your Atwood has a 17-3/4" tall x 18" wide door.

This water heater is simple to use with its wall-mounted controller so you will always have hot water whenever you need. I have added some links below to video reviews for you to check out as well if you'd like to take a look.

Are the water fittings the same size or will I need a coupler or adapter?
