Replacement Leaf Spring for Momentum 350G Fifth Wheel

Question:

I have a momentum 350g 5th wheel. Getting ready for the season and realized my springs are pretty flat. I reached out to Dexter and got my build sheet. The Dexter spring is a 7000 3500each 072-098-02. When i measure the flattened spring it is 26” to 26.25”. I want to go to 8000lb springs. Will these work? I assume they will be around the 26” when loaded

Hey Mark, I looked up the specs of the spring you have now and found that it is a 24-3/4 inch long spring from eye center to eye center and for a 7k axle. So that means that the replacement spring part # EM28AJ that you referenced will work great as a replacement since it's correct size and also for an 8k axle like you are wanting to give you more suspension support.
