When you’re working with an 8,000-lb axle, you need hardware that won’t flex or loosen over time. This kit uses sturdy 9/16"-18 diameter U-bolts that clamp your 3-1/2" round axle firmly to the leaf springs. Tightened to the proper 65-95 ft-lb torque range, they deliver the strength and grip needed to keep your suspension secure mile after mile.
Getting everything cinched up right is simple with the included 8" long U-bolts and matching plates. The plates fit both 1-3/4" and 2" wide springs, giving you a clean fit without extra parts or guesswork. Each kit includes four U-bolts, two plates, and eight hex nuts so you can mount both sides of one axle in one go.
This set is made specifically to mount a 3-1/2" diameter, typical 8,000-lb round axle to your trailer’s leaf springs. With all the key hardware included, it provides a strong and even clamp that keeps your axle seated tight under load. Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at U bolt kit for mounting 8000 pound round trailer axles. This kit attaches a trailer axle to the loose springs. It includes four eight inch long U bolts. That measurement's taken from the bottom of the U portion here out to the end of the threads. Comes with two U bolt plates for 1 and 3/4 inch, or 2 inch springs, and it comes with eight 9/16th inch by 18 hex nuts.Now, spring seats, they're required for mounting the axle to the loose springs. Ours sold separately.

We're looking at nice, durable steel construction on this kit. And again, it fits springs that have a width of 1 and 3/4 inches and 2 inches. Great product! The steel is of very high quality, not the cheap gold colored stuff that'll snap off as soon as you try to tighten it. The backing plates are good and thick, and after wrenching on them pretty hard with the impact and then a breaker bar, there is no deformation. I'm confident that these will stand up to whatever the road throws at them. As always, very fast shipping and great customer service! Thanks!

Had two leaf springs break during our trip. Visited several local places for parts but no one had what I needed. Friend said to check E-Trailer and I was able to locate everything quickly. Parts arrived in a short amount of time and repairs are in progress. Got me back on the road safely and quickly.
I received 4 beveled nuts and 4 standard. Was unsure the process. Why aren’t they all beveled if they are locking nuts

U-bolt kit came with lock washers that failed and squeezed out approaching final torque of 95 ft lbs. Had to go and get hardend flat washers and put in instead of using these lock washers. All the rest of the hardware seemed to be of good quality
U bolts are right, wish y'all had an option for the base plates for trailers with shocks. With my setup I am unable to utilize base plate. So I have to use my old base plate. Thank you & Happy Camping.

I had broken the U bolts on my new trailer due to under inflated tires. I was looking at a $4,000 repair from a local trailer service center. I needed 4 new 14 ply tires and all new springs and U bolts. A friend recommended etrailer... so I went on line and found exactly what I needed in springs and bolts. The entire fix cost me under $1,000 for 4 new tires mounted and new springs with bolts... I highly recommend etrailer for all of your trailer needs.
