Hey Wayne! The Power Grip RV Power Maximizer item # CAM55025 is not compatible with a GFCI outlet because the lack of a completed uninterrupted ground circuit in the wiring will not allow it to function correctly. Camco's engineers have said that it needs the uninterrupted flow that a GFCI outlet cannot provide even when it is working properly.
