Does Power Grip RV Power Maximizer Need to Have Both Male Plugs Used at Same Time?

Question:
Can you only plug in one of the male plugs and still have power to the RV. In case you go to a park that does not have the 15 amp available. Or at home and want to supply 15 amp service to the RV? And is the other plug of course not hot when only one plugged in.

You do NOT have to plug in both the 15-amp and 30-amp male ends to use the Power Grip RV Power Maximizer # CAM55025. You can plug in just the 15-amp or just the 30-amp male end and it will still work. The 30 or 15 amp end not plugged in will NOT be hot; the two male ends are wired separately.

Power Grip RV Power Maximizer - 50 Amp Female to 15 Amp Male and 30 Amp Male: I use this adapter pretty regularly with my 50 amp RV, but Ive noticed some of my plugs stop working when using the 30 amp plug only. I am generally running off of a generator and can run 1 AC and other appliances but I have to have the 15 amp plug attached to be able to power the plug outlets for the tv. Any idea what that could be? Would I need to purchase a 50 to 30 amp dogbone instead? Thanks.
