Can Rock Tamers Mud Flaps Be Used With An Aluminum Ball Mount?

Question:

I am wondering if it is recommended to use Rock Tamers on the aluminum Bullet Proof adjustable hitches BPH37MR or if the set screws on the rock tamer mount would damage the aluminum material?

Hello Earl, good question. It will be just fine to use Rock Tamers with an aluminum ball mount like the BulletProof # BPH37MR. The set screws could cause some scratching, but this would be the case with any ball mount regardless of material. Once properly installed, any scratching would be minimal, and it would not be noticeable since it would be covered by the collar.
