I have a 2025 subaru forester with a foot actuated trunk release. Does it still work with the etrailer hitch installed? Subaru says it must be removed if they install there hitch

Hey Bruce, the hands free liftgate of your 2025 Subaru Forester would be limited with the install of the etrailer hitch part # e83ZR but you would be able to kick to either side of the hitch opening and activate it as the hitch would partially obstruct it.
We also have the EcoHitch part # 306-X7391 which has even less that hangs below the bumper of the vehicle so it would obstruct it even less. What will you be using the hitch for?
