Does the Benton LittleShift Bike Rack # B54VR Have a Step? If so What is the Weight Rating?

It looks like there is a textured surface that can be used as a step. Is that correct? How much weight can it hold?

Hello Kris,
Great question! The step is actually my favorite added feature on the Benton LittleShift Bike Rack # B54VR. It does have a nice textured coating making it slip resistant, it would work great to get something off the roof of you car, or you can even use it as a seat to make sure your laces are tied tight before your ride. The step does not have it's own weight rating, it can handle the tongue weight rating of your hitch receiver. I attached some images, one is pointing out the step, and the other is our video talent Evangeline showing you how it can be used.
