Do you Have a Single Platform Bike Rack for My Trek Fx+2 Electric Bike with Fenders?

Question:

I’m looking for a single platform rack that will hold a Trek Fx+2 electric bike with front and rear fenders. A tire mount rack won’t work due to the fenders. I have a Jeep Cherokee with a 2” receiver. What would you recommend? Budget is no more that $500.

Wow, that’s a really nice electric bike! What color did you go with?

As long as your Trek FX+2 isn’t a step-thru model, the Benton LittleShift Bike Rack for 1 Bike – 2" Hitches – Wheel or Frame Mount # B54VR you were looking at will be a perfect fit. I checked the weight of your bike and see it comes in around 40 pounds, which is well within the LittleShift’s 80-pound weight capacity. Also, the bike rack will fit great in your 2" receiver.

The reason I asked about the step-thru frame is because the LittleShift can be used either as a wheel mount or a frame mount. I’ve attached an image showing how it works as a frame mount since the fenders will be in the way of the wheel mount.
