Question:
Hello....I have been told that you can not use the box mount camper tie downs with the aluminum body ford's because the aluminum will break apart from the pressure. Is this true or just rumors. I have a 2020 f250 with the short bed. And a 8 foot palomino pop up camper. I would have to run my tailgate down but I don't want to ruin the truck or have to worry about it coming loose on the road. Thanks.

Hello Robert,
Great question, we have reached out to Brophy in the past about this exact issue. They recommend using the # HSSF for aluminum beds like yours, just as long as there is two inches of clearance under the lip of the bedside (please refer to the image that I attached). Then you will also need a set of the # TDHP.
Any big trips planned this year, if so where are you headed?
