Question:
Hello, I Have a 2013 Newmar Baystar 3302, the electric steps do not go in or out when door is opened or closed. I can here the motor run but the small gear that drives the bigger gear is not moving. Lippert Coach Step LCI Model 171317. Any Ideas? Thanks

Hey Ken, thanks for reaching out!
You Coach Step model 171317 steps are double steps so for a replacement motor you're looking at part # LC301695. If that small gear isn't moving, then it sounds like there is something internal going on with your motor which is why you'll need the whole motor - you can verify that the small gear not moving is the issue by disconnecting the motor and applying power to it without that small gear touching the larger gear. If it still doesn't move, then the issue is definitely internal for the motor.
