Is this bike rack designed and built for use on the back of an RV Towable Trailer given the punishment a bike rack takes at the back of a trailer?

Hi Dick; the Benton LittleShift Bike Rack # B54VR cannot be used on an RV, trailer, or towed vehicle. Trailer rated bike racks are pretty limited, so you would have to use a 2-bike rack like the # KU84FR if you want to put it on the trailer towed behind your motorhome.
Are you carrying a regular bike or an e-bike? If it is a heavier e-bike the Lets Go Aero V-Lectric VFR # LGA25VR would be a better choice with an RV capacity of 80 lbs per bike. If you have the space for it you might also consider a bike rack like the Lets Go Aero Jack-It PLUS # LGA47ZR which would mount on a tongue jack instead of the hitch at the rear.
