Our carbon frame bikes have carbon seat posts. Will the HLY64FR clamp work with a carbon seat post? Bike model is Specialized Vado 6.0

Hey Sarah, since your bikes have carbon seat posts I would not recommend a bike rack that grabs the bikes by the seat posts like the Hollywood Racks RV Rider part # HLY64FR and instead I would go with a wheel mounted bike rack instead like the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 part # SH22G. Where are you taking your bikes? Is this an RVing application by chance?

Hi, Jameson. Thank you for your guidance on our carbon frame and seat posts. We are taking our bikes on a big camp/bike/hike trip we are planning to take in our Winnebago Travato. Would love your advice about the ideal rack. Our general purpose Thule rack causes enormous sway when it is loaded with two bikes. Sarah
