Troubleshooting the Hopkins Plug-In Tow Bar Wiring Kit on a 2019 Ford F-150

Question:
Just connected the plug and play and it is not working. Did troubleshooting and signal from Motorhome to cord is good. I had to change to a new 6 way plug and wired it exactly as my previous plug as I still have it. I confirmed my connections on the back end of the truck were still working as usual using my 6 way tester and they were fine.

Can you tell me what specifically isn't working on the item # HM56009 harness? Are any of the circuits getting power? If not it's most likely a bad control module.
I recommend double-checking that your ground is mounted directly to frame of your F-150. Other than that this wiring harness is a closed system and doesn't allow for modification or repair so you'd unfortunately be looking at replacing the entire wiring harness. Most likely the control module is malfunctioning and incorrectly sending signals but there's nothing that can be done to fix it.

Thanks for your reply, I found the issue to be the ground, all is good and working appropriately now.
