Distance From Hitch Pin Hole To Back Of Receiver On Curt C64NR And Draw-Tite 76170

Updated 10/30/2025 | Published 02/12/2025

Question:

I have a 2025 Honda Odyssey EXL. I am looking to install a hitch for a bike rack and some light towing the vehicle can only tow up to 3500 lbs. It is down to C64NR and 76170. The bike rack I am looking to purchase for use requires the hitch to have a depth of 3 3/8 inch 86mm past center of hitch pin hole. Can you share the depth of the these two hitches past the hitch pin? How far can a bike rack be ed past the hitch pin? I added an image with ?? to indicate the dimension I am referring to. Thanks, Joe

Hey Joe, thanks for reaching out. I went out to our warehouse and measured the Curt # C64NR and Draw-Tite # 76170 hitches for the 2025 Honda Odyssey. The measurement you are looking for it exactly the same for both hitches. They measure exactly 5" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the very back of the receiver. I edited a picture to illustrate and included it below.

The only difference I noticed was the distance from the center of the pin hole to the receiver opening. On the Curt # C64NR hitch this measurement was 3", and on the Draw-Tite is was only 2-1/2". But again, the distance to the back of the receiver was exactly the same, so it sounds like either hitch will work for you. I would go with whatever hitch costs less, and at this time it appears to be the Draw Tite.

I hope this helps, and feel free to reply below if you need anything else.

Hey Joe, how did things go with the hitch choice for your Odyssey? Did the Draw-Tite’s shorter pin hole distance give your bike rack the clearance you needed? Your update could make it easier for others comparing these two hitches.
