Best Replacement AC Unit For 2001 Jayco Kiwi 21C With Coleman AC Unit

Question:
I have a 2001 Jayco Kiwi 21C that the AC supposedly doesn’t work. It’s a Coleman mach but haven’t been able to see what style it is. I was considering replacing it but not sure what kind to get. Any recommendations?

Hello Joseph, thanks for reaching out. The current AC system is original to the camper, correct? If so, the best option will be to replace the rooftop unit, controller and thermostat. For that, what I recommend is the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System # ADV92SR. This comes with a new 15K BTU AC unit, controller, distribution box and thermostat. Everything you will need. Also, it will work with ducted or ductless systems. This will be a nice upgrade for you, especially if the current unit is original from 2001.
