Torque Specs for the Draw-Tite Ball Mount for 2" Hitches

Question:

What is the torque spec for the ball nut?

Hey Frank, 2" hitch balls like what you see on the Draw-Tite Ball Mount w/ 2" Ball for 2" Hitches # DT49MR should be torqued to 250 ft. lbs. This shank come pre-torqued though, so you shouldn't have to worry about that.

If there is something else I can help you with, please feel free to leave a comment and let me know!

Thank you sir. I ordered this DT49MR. It came with a ball mount, and a ball with nut, not mounted.

@BryceD The ball and ball mount were shipped as separate items. The ball was not mounted. Either the product description is wrong, or the order people failed to attach and torque the ball before shipping. Frank

@Frank Hey Frank, the product description is correct that's my bad stating it'd come pre-torqued. Most of our ball mounts that include a ball already come with the ball pre-torqued so without double checking that's what I assumed.
