Question:

This rack is recommended by your site for the 2000 Isuzu Rodeo, My vehicle has a small spoiler above the back window and cargo rails on top. The spare tire is mounted below the vehicle. We purchased a new mens Diamondback Edgewood and womans Diamondback Vital 2. Please advise if this carrier will be the best choice to transport our bikes for a stable ride transport. I also saw information on your site for an additional bar to better stabilize the womans bike ~ Bike Adapter Bar # TH982XT. Do you recommend this additional part for this carrier and vehicle? We are occasional riders that will not be traveling more than 100 miles round trip for any outing. Thanks a bunch for your advise!

Since you are looking for the most stable option for transporting your 2 Diamondback bikes with your 2000 Isuzu Rodeo and because of your vehicle spoiler your best option would be to install a hitch like the Curt Trailer Hitch part # C13222 and then use a hitch mounted bike rack. I attached an install video for this hitch.
