Good quality hitch. Nice and solid. The installation was a "hitch"! Had to use some muscles to stretch/pry the hitch so it would screw into both sides. Electrical connection was also easy. You need 2 people to install, otherwise it's pretty easy.
Excellent! perfect fit! Wiring harness was literally a snap. Called around to all the u haul and trailer places in my area and they wanted way more money. Very easy to fit except that the rear bumper needs to be removed to get one bolt in. It needs the bolt for the higher load capacity so it shouldn't be a mark against the product itself in any way. Well made, good weld quality and metal fabrication. Painted well. Overall a quality product.
It was shipped quickly and arrived packaged properly to avoid damage.
Mine was ordered with the 2" ball mount. These fit together without being too tight or too loose.
No complaints other than I should have ordered the wiring kit as well but that was my oversight.

The product was as expected and complete. These folks have the trailer hitch business down pat. The fit and finish was perfect. I purchased the full kit with extra balls/receiver and wiring harness. I have not installed wiring yet but am extremely happy with the entire process thus far.
I received the product in a couple days after order (super fast btw) from UPS. It could have used better packing but the hitch was in perfect shape for being shipped in a cardboard box.
The install time is no joke & accurate. It literally took me 30 minutes to install it by myself. Installation instructions are very easy to understand. And to those folks who say they had to remove the bumper. Try following the instructions. The kit includes a super-handy tool called a fishtape/line. It is used to "fish" a bolt/washer combo through the end of the frame near the bumper. If you don't use it, you WILL have to remove the bumper for wrangle the bolt/washer into place in the frame. Once again, they give you what you need so follow the instructions and it will go super smooth. I DID go by the local auto parts store to borrow their torque wrench to make sure the bolts were tightened to at least recommended specs.
I will definitely buy from etrailer again! Very satisfied. Only way to improve on the entire process would be better packing around the hitch and that is minor.
The hitch, wiring harness and ball mount kit that I ordered came in one box and was well packaged. Everything was in excellent condition when I opened the box to check the contents. I test fitted the hitch to make sure it would go on as easily as the installation video showed and it slipped right into place and all the mounting holes lined up perfectly. I did have to spend about an hour cleaning out the two weld nuts' threads and chipping off some old weld slag that was in the way of one hitch mounting bracket. Once I had done all that prep work I was able to install the hitch, by myself, with only basic automotive hand tools, working flat on my back, in less than an hour's time. I thought that was pretty good. A few days later I installed the wiring harness and it also went in very easily. The hitch and wiring harness were truly "plug and play" for my 2001 Isuzu Rodeo. Now when I move I'll be able to pull a cargo trailer which will make moving easier. I'll also be able to trailer my motorcycle on those camping trips when I'll be out for several weeks at a time. Everything I ordered from etrailer.com was exactly as advertised and I'll recommend them to anyone needing a trailer hitch or accessories. I was prepared for a problem or two but installing the hitch and harness could not have gone any easier. Thanks etrailer for delivering on your promise of a perfect fit.
After a long wait, the hitch for my 2000 Isuzu Rodeo finally arrived on Tuesday and I installed it today (Thursday). This is a solid, hefty and beautiful addition to my SUV. Installation was very straightforward (I'd say simple rather than easy) for an old guy working alone. I will be shipping this vehicle to Hawaii next week for use on our farm so I wanted to add a hitch before sending it off as everything is more expensive over there. This should provide years of towing fun and, from the look and feel, I expect it to last long after the Isuzu has rusted away in the salty south-sea air.
Please Note: the bumper was already dented before the installation (but it lets you see more of this great hitch!)

The overall quality of the hitch is excellent... Nicely power coated and it came with all the required hardware.... Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it was a bit challenging to install due to the shape not being exactly lined up with some spots on the frame.. But with little effort the hitch would ease into its place... Thanks etrailer,
The tow package came right on time. My 2 buddies at the local garage said it was so easy to install they didn't charge me. They had a lift but said it would be just as easy on the ground.
Can't wait to tow my motorcycle with it next week.

The hitch when I got the right one bolted right on. Originally I opened the box and read the directions and it showed a c channel frame my rodeo has a box frame. The bolts were way bigger that the holes. I call coustomer service and was told that the holes that were threaded probably were rusted and I should wire brush them out. I being a mechanic had already ran a thread chaser in the holes and knew it was the wrong size and thread. She said I will have someone call you back. Next day after a while I called coustomer service and this person had asked me for the number on the sticker on the hitch I read it off and she said oops thats for a chevy the numbers were very close. She issued a return label and they sent out the correct hitch that day. Mistakes happen. I would like to think I was going to get that call back but I was bored and when I reached out the second time they got it straightened out. I am happy with the way it was handled.

The hitch fit perfectly in my Isuzu Rodeo after a few minutes of struggling to clamp one side to the frame. It seems that perhaps the final weld or initial tube bend caused the unit to be short by about 3/4" overall width before the bolts were tightened. I could see that it would eventually fit, but had to stretch it by clamp to bolt it on. For a "bolt-on" product I'll give it 4 stars considering the poor quality control from the Curt company, the manufacturer. Great and solid built product otherwise that I would recommend.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver for the Isuzu Rodeo was the second custom-fit trailer hitch receiver I bought from etrailer.com. Each of the two fit perfectly. The Curt Receiver for the Isuzu Rodeo came with clear installation instructions and a handy tool for fishing the captured bolt through the frame member. This was a well thought out product, well supported by the instructions, supplied hardware and precise fit. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend etrailer to a friend, or to buy another receiver if I find a need.

ETrailer provided a trailer hitch for my 2002 Isuzu Rodeo I couldnt get here in Hawaii out in the middle of the Pacific for a price I couldnt have one made .
With all hardware and simple instructions provided the hitch didnt take long to install.

I ordered the hitch receiver and light kit online. You responded right away and shipped it within just a couple of days and it was delivered a few days later. I appreciated being notified when it shipped, wnen it was expected to be delivered, and gave me tracking to follow it. It was delivered exactly when you said and I had it installed the next day. The installation of both the receiver and lights went smooth. We did refer to your videos for both and appreciate that you have those videos on YouTube. That's how I found out about your company and your products.

I haven't towed with it yet, but I did get it installed. The hitch is somewhat heavy if you're doing it alone. Its probably best to have a jack or helper in order to get the holes aligned initially...The holes line up, but it required some finesse. My tailpipe was a bit in the way of the ratchet, even with the extension. On my vehicle, the license plate is also in the way of the hitch, so it had to be bent to not contact the hitch. The carriage bolt that had to be fished through the frame was simple. I really don't know where anyone had a problem with that. I would strongly suggest some WD-40 or equivalent and a steel bottle brush or something to clean out the two holes on the frame that are threaded. They will undoubtedly be fairly rusted. Once you do that, take the bolts and run them in and out a few times prior to putting the hitch in place. It will help finger thread them when the hitch is up ready to be attached. I found it far easier to align the three holes on the passenger side before the three on the driver side. After all was tightened down, the hitch is sturdy as can be. I'm quite happy. I just wish it could sit a bit higher, so as to not get caught up when I'm offroading.
Product was as advertised and came in a timely manor. I withheld the fifth star because of inaccurate and missing hardware (nuts and the right sized washers). The installation "fish" wire for installing the carriage bolt was helpful but that probably was the product mfg's doing.
